• Smart Track is a PC-based locator/tracking/routing system that’s designed to follow the path of inbound items such as mail and packages from an entry point to delivery point. It can transform your internal receiving and delivery process with 100% electronic automation and efficiency!
• With Smart Track, every package, parcel or item is tracked from the time it reaches your door to the time it reaches the appropriate recipient – and every point in between. You can easily pinpoint the location of any item, who is in possession, and how long it’s been there – all from your desktop in real time
• Scaleable to match the simplest to most sophisticated customer requirements from stand alone systems to multiple networked receiving stations
• The wireless receiving scanner captures the carrier, mode of service, date/time and sender just by scanning a tracking label barcode - and it can operate up to 30 feet away from the base station
• The carrier validate feature can be used to quickly scan and count packages in order to verify the carrier’s package count is correct
• Automatic importing permits Smart Track to link directly to your employee database, ensuring new and moved employees are always located
• Voice recognition technology allows operators to simply speak the recipient’s name and the receiving screen identifies the employee and sets up delivery routing
• Smart Track can be configured with one or multiple signature-capture delivery devices. You can also receive and deliver from the handheld, validate package counts, pickup packages while delivering, and even transfer packages from one operator’s device to another
• Automatic delivery route calculation based on priority, employee location and facility layout is transferred to the delivery device, optimizing process time and performance
• One or more optional counter signature pads can be located in receiving areas to support employee pickups
• The thermal label printer can generate internal delivery labels in a variety of formats with basic or detailed information (i.e. name, route, mailstop, fragile, special handling instructions, and much more). You can even track assets by creating labels to identify inventory items
• Automatically create unique tracking numbers and print barcoded tracking labels for mail or packages received without a barcode – easily track the movement of virtually any important item within the company
• Document, print labels and generate reports for mystery mail (no recipient or department identified) and damaged packages
• Up to 20 custom and searchable fields for user-definable information about each package (such as storage area, purchase order #, product type, etc)
• Automatic email notification alerts recipients when packages arrive for them
• Robust reporting including delivery manifest, package history with signature, undelivered/attempted deliveries, process time, & a custom report generator
• Advanced search capabilities that can filter packages by employee, sender, carrier, location, custom fields, station number, and date range
• Optional Webtrack component – a web based utility used by employees to create operator alerts (i.e. “deliver immediately to a specific conference room”), search for packages and schedule packages to be picked up – all from any desktop connected to your corporate intranet. The recipient’s signature will appear right on the user’s screen
